About Our Twisted Family

 In August 2017, we took our first step into the pizza world by taking over Guy’s Pizza. For three years, we learned the ropes, served our neighbors, and fueled our passion for the industry. But as we grew, so did our desire to create something truly unique—something that reflected our own tastes and vision.

 In December 2020, we made the bold decision to leave the franchise world behind. We stripped the shop down and rebuilt it as Twisted Tomato. Our mission was simple: use better ingredients and introduce a "twist" of bold, unexpected flavors that you couldn’t find anywhere else. It wasn’t just a name change; it was a total evolution of what we believed pizza should be. 

 The response to our new concept was incredible. By 2021, we were ready to bring that Twisted energy to the heart of the city. We opened our second location in Downtown Akron, connecting with the local community and becoming a staple for workers, students, and residents looking for a fresh take on their favorite meal. 

 Our journey didn't stop there. In 2023, we expanded once again, opening our doors in Stow. With every new shop, we’ve stayed committed to the quality and creativity that started it all back in 2020, ensuring that every slice served in Stow is just as "twisted" as the first one we ever made. 

 When we say we’re a family-run business, we mean it. Twisted Tomato is powered by the people we love most. From my brothers and cousins to my son and mother, the whole family is part of the action. Whether it’s tossing dough, managing the floor, or perfecting a new recipe, there is a member of the family involved in every step of your meal. 

 At the end of the day, we aren't just here to sell pizza; we’re here to support the people who support us. Whether it’s our Friday food giveaways on Facebook or helping out local causes, giving back is baked into everything we do. To be honest, we’d much rather be known as the most generous shop in town than have a plaque on the wall that says "Best Pizza." We already know the food is good—we want you to know our heart is even fuller. When you eat with us, you’re not just a customer; you’re part of the Twisted Tomato family.
